Oct. 27th, 2008 11:47 amLast week was pretty nice.
Less stressful, Iactually got all my homework done by Sunday afternoon so I have free time today. I should have used it to work on the plethora of household chores that have built up, but i tool a nap. Right now I am looking for info for my final project in 60600.
Thursday was fun :-/ - the class got caught in the middle of a tiff between a student and the prof. *AWKWARD* I am glad the final in that class is this week.
I just to state agina how much I love Sunday evenings at Dave's. It is seriously the highlight of my week. I feel incredibly lucky to have him as a part of my life.
Melvin got loose last night. I was trying to lock the backdoor because I'd just been approached by a guy trying to sell me a "brand new laptop or digital camera" so I thought it best to lock up. His leash slipped from my hand. I almost had a heart attack! After he peed he ran back to me, but i had called him several times before that.
In Melvin news, he's testing me, and unfortunately, I can't catch him in the act. He started o nmy shoes last week so I've got them in my closet now, and this morning he pulled a stuffed animal off the bookshelf that he's never even looked at before. *sigh* I either need to start crating him or gating him in the kitchen I guess. I hope he will get along with Dave's dogs so maybe I can take him there sometimes for playdates.
I made awesome soup yesterday (well, it smells yummy- haven't eaten any yet). It's aa thrown together kind. I might have some for lunch, but I was just thinking some pasta might be good...
It's cold! I need to figure out what to do with a little furryone in the house. He can't just go put on a sweater like I can, but he does have a built in one. I should probably get him a blanket or something. He hasn't seemed to cold or anything yet.
My birthday is 35 days away.
