interesting. i would think that you would want children to grow up in loving homes. who cares if it with a mom and a dad, 2 moms, or 2 dads? or single parents for that matter.
how much before this goes a step farther to outlaw divorce?
i remember watching "if (these?) walls could talk 2"- it was this thing on HBO, i think and it was 3 short films about this one particular house that had different people living in it at different times. the first couple was a devoted lesbian couple in the 50's or 60's. one of the ladies died, and the other one had basically no rights as her partner. the dead lady's family completely shut out the "friend" and then threw her out of her home of thirty years. its very sad, and i know those kinds of things happen today. one of the longest lasting "marriages" in m extended family is my cousin beverly and her partner rosie. they have been togethetr over 30 years yet some of my family refuse to recognize that. can't we all just get along.
