watch out

Sometimes you can feel situations reaching a critical "mass", so to speak. i have a couple of those in my life right now. one i hope to be able to "nip in the bud," the other is not my fight to fight so i must stand by, watch, and then move in as the clean-up crew. i am not sure which is harder: being the participant or the observer.

I just bought this CD by Nellie McKay. It is very cool. It is so different I have a hard time explaining it. The promos say she is a mix of doris day and enimen. I am inclined to agree. I highly recommend it, though I can see where it won't be for everybody.
