oh, labor day

so, instead of getting to lounge around today, i spent time at the neighborhood sears getting 2 new tires for the car. after the grocery trip this morning, i found a staple gun staple in the tire that has already been plugged last year sometime. so i decided, ok time to bite the bullet- i was going to need new tires before christmas anyway. stupid tires the dealer had on there were frickin' expensive! i had to get the same kind though because i was only getting 2. mom and dad said they would pay for them though. fun, fun times. i wanted to get them at walmart, but the person that answered phone said everything so condensendingly, i was expecting him to call me "little lady" any second. he also said he didn't have any of my particular tire size without even looking. asshat. so i went to sears. it was more expensive, but i will probably get better service anyway. but i like having new tires. the car seems to handle better.

i also had an awesome dinner at the jasons. yumyumyum.

well, i'm going to go to bed early and nurse my cold. i wonder if i would feel too guilty to call off work tomorrow.
