and we're off

Well, it's time for the trip to WV. It will be good- I'm just a little nervous.

I realized where most of my anxiety is coming from- I don't feel like I'm "going home" for Christmas- I feel like I'm leaving it. I'd much rather spend this holiday with my chosen family.

Well, I need to pack the car and get one more gift.
