SO I made a good supper- fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, some fresh tomato and a pickle.
Then I put together awesome chili!!!!
I am so looking forward to taking it for lunch tomorrow. I might share with Dave.

That's all- back to your regularly scheduled programs.
reading this post http://community.livejournal.com/customers_suck/23021043.html in [livejournal.com profile] customers_suck reminded of this tidbit from today.

I'm sitting at my desk, talking to a coworker when I notice someone at the counter just standing there with some stacks of music. I turn around and ask "Do you need any help?" and he responds "NO" pretty emphatically. It sounded like he'd been asked before and didn't want to be bothered or someone else was helping him, and how dare I ask again. So I turned around and went back to my work. About 2 minutes later Cindy walks up and asks him "Do you need any help?" to which he responded "Yes, I do." WTH?

Either he misunderstood me and thought I was asking him "have you been helped?" which makes me look incredibly rude, or he had some kind of problem with me helping him.
Maybe he thought I was a boy, and wanted female help? Or maybe he's a big homophobe and didn't want to catch TEH GAY? If he did misunderstand me, why didn't he say something?

I will ponder this for a long while.

EDIT: Jason just suggested that maybe the guy was being sarcastic in saying no. I think this might be the most plausible- and perhaps the funniest. People just stand at that counter all the time looking over their music. I didn't really think anything of him saying he didn't need help; just the way in which he said it and then how he waited until someone else walked up to ask for help was odd.
