Nov. 5th, 2007 07:47 pmSo I went with Dave B today and visited the Springfield area. It was fun to see all the things he had talked about to me. I met his mom, and I really liked his brother and sister -in-law's house. We ate at an awesome place- http://www.robertrothschild.com/ that is in Urbana. Good food, and it had an awesome gifty section too. You could have filled up on all the samples they had out. I might check them out for Christmas gifts this year.
In other news, I got in the shower this morning, and lalala, halfway through the water went ice cold. brrrrrrr. The hot water tank had been leaking on and off since I moved in so I think it just gave up. I called my landlord and left a message telling him about the shower and that the tank was currently leaking. I told him I wouldn't be home, but he had my permission to enter. When I got back this evening I didn't have a note from him so I assumed he hadn't been able to make it out. Then I turned on the faucett in the kitchen. It kept sputtering. I went down and checked, and sure enough- he had replaced my tank. yay. I really like my landlord. He's quick and couteous, and not afraid to replace things if need be.
OK, I should do some band work....
