It was the second day with the SAD light. I am so thankful that Dave bought it for me- even if he did say it was because he was tired of me being "depressed and bitchy." heh. I think he was (mostly) joking. I so need to come up with an awesome gift for him.
off topic-Last night was really nice. Dave told me to be over about 4:30 so we could walk the dogs and head to Easton/Trader Joes then come back and go to a party for the volunteers of the Holiday Tour the OTENA had. WE went out ot Trader Joes, but it was raining too hard to go anywhere else. We went back to their place and talked while he folded clothes. Phil got home to get his stuff and get ready for chorus. Dave came out and said we had to go so we could move the cars. They both seemed a tad odd, but really-Phil always looks like he just lost his best friend when he comes in and sees me there so it didn't register. We go out and get in the car, and Dave says "You want Chipotle for dinner?" I said that was fine, but.. and he said "Well, Phil made it more than clear you wouldn't be welcome at the party." We ended up going to Northstar. I feel badly now that I realize I should have offered to go home so Dave could enjoy the party. Phil called to apologize about the mood last night, and to mildly chastise me for presuming I could go, but that's fine. I probably should have questioned. I just have this habit of relaxing completely around Dave, I just assume he's doing the right thing, and I'm comfortable trusting him without reservation.
Back to today. I went to Target and got several things I needed, including window plastic. I will need to come up with a hair dryer however. Then I went to Kroger, and got the basic groceries, plus the stuff to make lasagne. I will eat a piece here soon. I put spinach, mushrooms, fake bratwurst, and fake ground beef in. It smelled like heaven. I also did something I've never done before- I used shredded swiss cheese instead of the slices. I also had Northstar for lunch. Yummy! I had plans to go down and dig out the Christmas decorations, but i got lazy this afternoon. As I have something every night this week, it won't happen now until next weekend. Maybe Dave will want to come over and help...
