nother question

So, this is kinda hypothetical...
Dave and Phil have had 3 new kittens (about 6 months old) show up in their backyard.

If I were to want one (or more) of the cats how many should I take?
They are great around Dave's dogs, so I wouldn't have a worry there...
but I don't know if I could take 2 and leave 1, or if I took 1 would it get lonely...
