a weekend recap
Mar. 19th, 2007 11:14 amI love my lazy Mondays.
Let's recap-
Friday.
I left work around 2pm and got to Oak Hill around 5:40pm. I got settled in a home and Mom and Dad left for their board meeting. I rummaged and found something to fix to eat, and waited for them to get home. We spent an evening in- I helped work two crossword puzzles, and I got my back rubbed. yay :-) I went to bed around 10:30pm.
Saturday
I had planned on getting up at 7:30am and sure enough my sister called right then. Since they were doing a dinner thing with some friends Saturday night, she wanted to do her birthday dinner as a breakfast. We chose to meet at Bob Evans at 10:00am. I got ready, and Bret calls about 9am to say "we'll be 15 minutes late". SO we make it to Bob Evans at 10:15am and wait for about 20 minutes on them. Breakfast was good, everyone admired my niece. After we ate we all went over to their house so we could play with the baby. She's becoming a little person. We left about 1:30pm. Mom and Dad took me shopping at walmart then they had to be back at Jess and Bret's by 4:15pm. I think they were a little late. I headed back and got home about 7:45pm.
I made some supper and crashed- I was in bed by 9:30pm.
Sunday
I forced myself up at 6am and started housework. I made good headway- I got the laundry done as well as the kitchen and the bathroom. I went to church and then came home to clean more. I got everything done and headed out to Dave's about 4:30pm. I stopped and got us Cold Stone (which we didn't eat. boohiss). We hung out, ordered chinese (string beans with tofu YUM!) and watched "little miss sunshine." That was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. I headed home about 9am. I tried to talk with Dave S, but I was so sleepy (2 vodka and tonics will do that) I basically listened. We got off the phone at 10pm and I fell asleep.
So far today I've: slept, watched some TV, and showered. I need to head to the grocery store and I want a girly top to wear to the concert. Hmmmm, maybe I will head to Easton or Tuttle and get fancy girl jeans too...I think I'll look at Target first maybe... Hmmmm.
