Let's see-
Friday- I went to work and then to dinner at BD's Mongolian and to see the Simpson's Movie. I was highly amused. There are some great one liners in that movie. "I wish you didn't have the Devil's curly hair.." After the movie we went to Club D. That was a lot of fun. There was this random "straight" guy who came over to talk to us. I had only one martini as well. go me.
Saturday- Board retreat. I was unusually tired, and instead of helping me stay awake, my grande iced triple mocha with no whip from Starbucks made me woozy. By the time the meeting was over at 3pm I could barely hold my eyes open. I came home and slept and then made dinner. I called Dave S and knew something was wrong. He had had a "good time" on Friday night as well, but didn't fare as well on day after. I think he is feeling better though.
Sunday- Got up and cleaned some- I helped a lady look for her dog. She found him- yay! Went to church, came home and finished up the cleaning. Did my 2nd walk/exercise of the day. Headed over to Dave and Phil's about 5:30. It was the best evening I'd had in a while. We watched Star Wars VI, and ate Buca di Beppo. Wow that was good. Did the cartoon thing and i headed home after the dog walking. I love our Sunday evenings. i think they are becoming routine for Dave as well. That makes me happy beyond measure. His friendship makes me extremely happy. I should work on some introspection on that sometime soon.
Today was an unmotivated day. I'm starting on my third week of six day weeks, and I'm cutting out caffeine. I've had too much Starbucks lately. Once a week or so would be ok, but I've been going 3 or 4 times. Bad news. I plan on getting to work super early so I can get some work done.
Well, I should do something constructive. I really need to type up the board minutes, but I don't think I will. I plan on early bed.
I want to get a puppy. I had thought I might go after the Jasons' dog, but they have decided to keep him. Durn, someone just adopted the dog at the shelter I wanted. We'll see...
