Presidents' Day

SO, I am sitting here at 1:30pm still in my jammies.
I was productive this morning. I ironed, and I snet several emails I have been procrastinating about.
I still need to do some band stuff, but I am getting mighty hungry. I think I might head to my favorite spot- Northstar for lunch. I need to shower and such first. Then I will head out to Target (and maybe some other shopping) get groceries, and come home.

In other news, my friend Dave is the greatest.
I had a mini breakdown last night with him on our way back from Chipotle last night. He was totally understnad and everything. yay. I'm glad to have a friend like him.

I'm still not doing super, but I think I'll make it.

Snow....

Holy Crap- I just looked out the window, and it's a blizzard out there. I hope everyone got home safely. I'm checking the forcast now. It says they will move through by 8:30pm, and we should get round an inch.

In the rest of my day news, I slept in until 10am, and I've managed to be relatively productive today.

I did spend some money- I bought groceries, and things I needed from target. I also got a bottle of Riesling, two white wine glasses, and a corkscrew from World Market. The wine is good- I had half a glass just now. how long does wine last in the frig after being opened?

I also made some awesome chili from a recipe dave gave me. You are supposed to use the crock pot, but I made it on the stove top. It smells yummy.

I am in the process of making mushroom raviolo with a garlic parmesean (store bought) sauce that I'm adding fake chicken and roasted red peppers to. I'm excited.

Dave has asked me to be a "guinia pig" for a class he is teaching in march. If it were anyone else, I'd be nervous, He'll take care of me though.
